Honoring National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Each April, The CARE Center of Indiana County hosts Pinwheels for Prevention. Community members, businesses, and organizations sponsor pinwheels, which come together to create a vibrant Garden of Hope on the lawn of the Indiana County Courthouse. Every dollar raised stays right here in Indiana County to support local children and families.
The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention, representing the bright, healthy childhoods every child deserves. We invite you to sponsor a pinwheel in honor of a child you love or someone who made a difference in your life.

Indiana County's At Risk Children & Families
Plant a pinwheel to help children in Indiana County today! Please help us by planting a pinwheel in your own yard or in our 2026 Garden of Hope on the Indiana Courthouse lawn in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Pinwheels are on sale now and your entire donation goes towards helping at-risk children in Indiana County.
All Pinwheels are planted for our ceremony on Wednesday, April 1st at noon and will be on display on the lawn of Indiana County Courthouse during the month of April.
